Baked Acorn Squash
Acorn squash is named for its acorn-like shape and is a popular winter squash variety.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cut the acorn squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.

Place the squash halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Drizzle olive oil and maple syrup over each squash half.

Sprinkle cinnamon and salt evenly over the squash halves.

Place a pat of butter on top of each squash half.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the squash is tender and caramelized.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
