Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the coconut oil. Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract, and mix well.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk the aquafaba until frothy. Fold it into the brownie batter.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the dish for 30 minutes.
