  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the oil mixture and mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the toasted sesame seeds.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
