  4. Add the collard greens to the pot and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 30 minutes, or until the greens are tender.
  5. Stir in the vegetable broth, apple cider vinegar, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the ham hock from the pot and shred the meat. Discard the bone and return the meat to the pot.
