Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any discolored leaves. Slice the Brussels sprouts thinly.

Peel and thinly slice the shallots. Mince the garlic.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shallots and garlic and sauté until softened, about 2 minutes.

Add the sliced Brussels sprouts to the skillet and sauté for 5-6 minutes, until they are tender and slightly browned.

Stir in the lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Remove from heat and serve hot.
