Oven Baked “Fried” Pickles
Fried pickles originated in the Southern United States and have become a popular snack across the country.

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).

Drain the pickles and pat them dry with paper towels.

In a shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

In another shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.

Dip each pickle slice into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally into the panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Place the coated pickles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Lightly spray the pickles with cooking spray.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
