  3. Add chickpeas, vegetable broth, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  4. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Stir in lemon juice and fresh cilantro.
  6. Remove from heat and let the soup rest for 5 minutes.
