  2. Add red bell pepper, carrot, and tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes.

  4. Add vegetable broth, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Use an immersion blender or regular blender to puree the soup until smooth.
  6. Return the soup to the pot and reheat if necessary. Stir in lemon juice.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
