  4. Add curry powder, turmeric powder, and chopped tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
  5. Add the rinsed lentils, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until lentils are cooked.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
