  2. In a food processor, combine the cooked lentils, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the chickpea flour. Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Form the lentil mixture into small patties and fry in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve the green lentil falafel with your favorite dipping sauce or in a pita with fresh vegetables.
