Garden Salad Sub
The concept of a sandwich dates back to the 18th century, but the term ‘sandwich’ was named after John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, who was known for his love of eating meat between slices of bread.

Slice the sub roll in half lengthwise.

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.

Spread the dressing on both sides of the sub roll.

Layer lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber slices, red onion slices, bell pepper slices, olives, and feta cheese on one side of the sub roll.

Place the other half of the sub roll on top.

Cut the sub roll into halves or quarters.
