  2. Trim the ends of the asparagus stalks.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush each phyllo dough sheet with the olive oil mixture.
  5. Place 2 asparagus stalks at one end of each phyllo dough sheet and roll tightly like a cigar.
  6. Place the asparagus cigars on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the phyllo dough is golden brown.
  8. Allow the asparagus cigars to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
