Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, cook until softened.

Add carrot, red bell pepper, and zucchini. Cook for 5 minutes.

Stir in canned tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer, reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions.

Remove the sauce from heat and blend until smooth using an immersion blender.

Serve the sauce over cooked pasta, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
