Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add diced onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic cloves. Sauté until softened.

Add tomatillos, ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add canned white beans, diced tomatoes, and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Stir in lime juice and fresh cilantro.
