Syrian cookies, also known as Barazek, are a popular Middle Eastern treat often enjoyed with a cup of tea or coffee.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, powdered sugar, and ground cardamom.

Add rosewater and water to the mixture and mix well until it forms a dough.

Take small portions of the dough and shape them into small round balls.

Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Press a pistachio onto the top of each ball.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on a wire rack.

Allow the cookies to rest for about 30 minutes before serving.
