Trim the ends of the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, salt, and black pepper. Pour the sauce over the green beans and toss to coat.

Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
