Rinse the quinoa thoroughly.

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil and add the rinsed quinoa. Cook for 15 minutes or until the quinoa is tender.

In a separate saucepan, heat almond milk over medium heat. Add cooked quinoa, diced apples, maple syrup, and cardamom powder. Stir well.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Garnish with almonds, raisins, pistachios, and saffron strands.
