  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until onion is translucent.
  4. Add paprika, cumin, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  5. Add the drained chickpeas, canned tomatoes, and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
