Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Saute until onions turn golden brown.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.

Add the potatoes and mix well. Cover and cook until the potatoes are tender.
