In a large bowl, add the drained kidney beans and mash them using a fork or a potato masher.

In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.

Add the spinach to the pan and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Once the spinach mixture is cooled, add it to the mashed kidney beans in the bowl.

Add bread crumbs, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, pepper, and beaten egg to the bowl.

Mix all the ingredients well until combined.

Shape the mixture into patties and place them on a plate.

Heat a frying pan or grill over medium heat and add a little oil.
