Cook polenta according to package instructions. Set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, sauté until translucent.

Add lentils and vegetable broth to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until lentils are tender.
