Rinse the quinoa under cold water.

In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and add the rinsed quinoa and salt.

Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the quinoa is cooked and the water is absorbed.

Fluff the quinoa with a fork and let it cool for 5 minutes.

In a serving bowl, combine the cooked quinoa, pesto, and toasted almonds.

Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

Serve warm or at room temperature.
