Quinoa is actually a seed, not a grain, and it is considered a complete protein source.

Rinse the quinoa under cold water.

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the rinsed quinoa and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the quinoa is tender and the water is absorbed.

In a separate pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add cooked quinoa to the pan with garlic. Stir in fresh herbs, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
