In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.

Add lentils, chickpeas, tomatoes, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

Pour in water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Serve hot with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
