Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

In a blender, combine the ripe bananas, unsweetened applesauce, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

Pour the banana mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
