Heat ghee in a pan and roast the desiccated coconut until golden brown.

Add condensed milk and cardamom powder to the pan and mix well.

Cook the mixture on low heat until it thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.

Grease your hands with ghee and shape the mixture into small round laddoos.

Garnish with chopped nuts if desired.

Let the laddoos rest for 30 minutes before serving.
