Peel and slice the carrots into thin circles.

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the carrots for 5 minutes.

In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the honey, salt, and black pepper to the pan and stir well.

Add the cooked carrots to the pan and toss to coat them in the honey glaze.

Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are tender and glazed.
