Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Soak the hickory wood chips in water for 30 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Brush the veggie chik'n patties with the oil mixture.

Place the soaked wood chips on the grill and close the lid.

Grill the veggie chik'n patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, until they are heated through and have grill marks.

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.

Spread vegan mayonnaise and Dijon mustard on the bottom buns.
