Healthy Fruit Muffins
Muffins were originally called ‘muffin bread’ and were served as a side dish with meals in the 18th century.
This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 45 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a separate bowl, mix together the honey, coconut oil, almond milk, and vanilla extract.

Mash the bananas in a small bowl and add them to the wet ingredients.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Gently fold in the blueberries and strawberries.

Divide the batter evenly among a greased muffin tin.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
