Hakka noodles originated from the Hakka people in China and were later adapted in Indian-Chinese cuisine.

This is vegan recipe. Dish can be prepared in 30 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 13.

Instructions

  1. Boil noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for a minute.
  4. Add sliced onion, carrot, capsicum, and cabbage. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are slightly tender.
  5. Push the vegetables to one side of the wok and add the cooked noodles.
  6. Pour soy sauce and vinegar over the noodles. Toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper.
  8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
