Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the almonds and cook until lightly toasted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the cooked green beans, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the green beans are heated through and well coated with the garlic and lemon mixture.
