Wash and dry the potatoes, then slice them into thin rounds.

In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Add the sliced potatoes to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

Tear off four sheets of aluminum foil, each large enough to wrap a portion of potatoes.

Divide the seasoned potatoes evenly among the foil sheets, placing them in the center.

Fold the foil over the potatoes and seal the edges to create a packet.

Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Remove the foil packets from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
