Press the tofu to remove excess water. Cut it into cubes.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add tofu cubes and cook until golden brown. Remove tofu from the pan.

In the same pan, add sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Cook for a minute.

Add bok choy and cook until wilted.

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, Szechuan pepper, salt, black pepper, cornstarch, and water.

Add the sauce to the pan and cook until it thickens.

Add the cooked tofu back to the pan and toss to coat.
