Date Rice Krispies Bars
Rice Krispies were invented by accident in 1927 when a couple of Kellogg’s employees accidentally left a pot of cooked rice on the stove for too long. When they returned, they discovered the rice had dried and crackled, leading to the creation of Rice Krispies cereal.
This is vegan and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 75 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 8.

In a food processor, blend the Medjool dates, almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Krispies cereal with the date mixture. Mix well until all the cereal is coated.

If desired, add in chopped nuts, dried fruit, or shredded coconut for extra flavor and texture.

Press the mixture into a lined baking dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.

Once set, cut into bars and serve.
