In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.

Add the yellow squash, vegetable broth, lemon juice, ground cumin, ground coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the squash is tender.

Remove from heat and let the soup cool slightly. Then, transfer the soup to a blender and blend until smooth.

Transfer the blended soup to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until chilled.

Serve the chilled soup in bowls, garnished with fresh cilantro.
