Rinse the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes.

In a pan, heat ghee and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan. Stir well.

Add water and salt. Bring it to a boil.

Reduce the heat, cover the pan, and let it cook for 15-20 minutes.

Once cooked, let it rest for 5 minutes before fluffing it with a fork.
