Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Trim the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.

Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.

Season with salt and black pepper.

Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and lightly browned.

While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, toast the almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden brown.

Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
