Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Peel and trim the carrots, then cut them into long, thin strips.

In a mixing bowl, combine the balsamic vinegar, orange juice, olive oil, orange zest, salt, and black pepper.

Add the carrot strips to the bowl and toss well to coat them evenly with the mixture.

Transfer the carrots to a baking sheet and spread them out in a single layer.

Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and slightly caramelized.
