In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, ground almonds, sesame seeds, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest.

Add the vegetable oil, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix well until a dough forms.
