  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the acorn squash in half and scoop out the seeds.
  2. Brush the inside of each squash half with olive oil and maple syrup. Sprinkle with cinnamon and salt.
  3. Place the squash halves on a baking sheet, cut side up, and roast for about 30-40 minutes, or until tender.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the pecans. Cook for a few minutes until the pecans are toasted.
  5. Remove the squash from the oven and fill each half with the pecan mixture.
  6. Return the squash to the oven and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
