  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a food processor, blend the dates until they form a paste.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, rolled oats, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add coconut oil, applesauce, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
  5. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  6. Spread the date paste evenly over the crust.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the date paste.
  8. Cover with the remaining oat mixture and press gently.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
