Trim the ends of the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the beans are tender-crisp.

Add slivered almonds and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes until the almonds are lightly toasted.

Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss to combine.

Transfer the fried green beans to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley.
