Preheat the grill or toaster. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Grill or toast the bread slices until golden brown.

Cut the tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a bowl.

Finely chop the basil leaves and garlic cloves.

Add the chopped basil, garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with tomatoes. Mix well.
