Rinse the dried navy beans and soak them overnight.

Drain the soaked beans and add them to the slow cooker.

Chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.

Add the onion, garlic, tomato sauce, brown sugar, maple syrup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, salt, black pepper, and water to the slow cooker.
