Trim the ends of the green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the blanched green beans to the pan and sauté for another 3-4 minutes.

Sprinkle lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper over the green beans. Toss to combine.

Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the green beans are tender.
