Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.

In a large bowl, combine the wheat bran, oats, whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add the maple syrup, almond milk, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the raisins and chopped nuts.

Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the muffins cool in the tin for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
