  4. Add okra and tomatoes. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Pour in vegetable broth and add creole seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, thyme, and bay leaves. Stir well.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  7. Add black-eyed peas and cook for another 10 minutes.
  8. Remove bay leaves and season with salt and black pepper.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and fresh parsley.
