Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into nugget-sized pieces.

In a bowl, combine the nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Dip each tofu piece into the almond milk, then coat it with the gluten-free flour blend.

Place the coated tofu pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.

While the tofu is baking, heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.

In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry.

Dip each baked tofu piece into the cornstarch slurry, then fry them in the hot oil until golden and crispy.

Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
