  2. In a small bowl, mix the ground flaxseed with water and let it sit for 5 minutes to form a flax egg.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flax egg, coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  6. Fold in the chopped almonds.
  7. Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and shape it into a log, about 12 inches long and 4 inches wide.
