Preheat the grill or a grill pan.

Slice the baguette diagonally into 1-inch thick slices.

Grill the bread slices until they are lightly toasted on both sides.

Cut the tomatoes into small cubes and place them in a bowl.

Add chopped fresh basil, minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to the tomatoes. Mix well.

Spoon the tomato mixture onto the grilled bread slices.
